Since 2000.
Two trades. One company.

Concrete coatings and interior painting take different preparation, equipment and training. That is why we have a dedicated crew for each.

How one trade
became two.

Phellipe SousaOwner, Pink Elephant, LLC
Peabody, Massachusetts

I started Pink Elephant in 2000, painting houses around Peabody. For years that was the whole business: walls, ceilings, trim and whatever a homeowner needed to make a room feel new again. Most of the work came from neighbors telling neighbors, and that part has not changed.

What changed is what people started asking for. Customers kept pointing at the garage floor, or the basement slab, and asking if we could do something about it. I said yes a few times before I understood that coatings are not painting with a different product. They are their own trade, with their own preparation, their own failure modes and their own equipment. So instead of treating floors as a side job, we built a second crew for them, trained on concrete and nothing else.

“Coatings are not painting with a different product. They are their own trade.”

Today we run both. The coatings crew grinds, tests and seals concrete. The painting crew works inside your home and cleans up every night. They are different people with different training, and that is the point. What they share is the license, the insurance, the warranty and the phone number you call, which still reaches me.

Different people. Different training.

Each crew knows
its trade.

Two areas of work, with the preparation and equipment each one requires. One company to call from the estimate to the final walkthrough.

Blue and gray coated floor in a commercial interior — Concrete coating work by Pink Elephant.

Our coatings crew

Coatings for existing concrete. We do not pour or install slabs. Diamond grinders, dust extraction and moisture testing on every job, because that is what decides whether a floor lasts.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Pink Elephant painted the exterior of our house. They were professional and easy to work with. The quality of the work was high. An example of the level of service, after a year we had a few small spots of peeling paint. Pink Elephant came back and took care of those spots at no charge. I would recommend their services.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have used Phellipe since 2019 for a few projects. Every time, he and his team have always been professional. He really cares about all the details and will go out of his way to make sure everything is to our liking. And, everything always looks great. I would never hesitate to hire him again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Phellipe and Pink Elephant painted the interior of our house, first and second floors, in 2009. They did such an amazing job, we had them back to paint our first floor in July 2026. Our walls, ceiling and trim were showing wear and tear after 17 years, and we also wanted to brighten up the space. They painted all walls, ceiling and trim on the first floor. They also painted the walls, ceiling and trim in an upstairs hallway and bathroom. Once again, they did an amazing job! We love Phellipe and Pink Elephant! We highly recommend them! Phellipe is so easy to work with. He is easy to communicate with, and very responsive to email and text. He is meticulous and has amazing attention to detail. He and his crew do wonderful work. His price quote listed everything they would do, and he delivered on that. His price was very reasonable. We asked if he could add a couple of things that we thought of later (stripping two railings and patching an old dog door). He said no problem and did a perfect job on those items too. Phellipe and Pink Elephant are a pleasure to work with, and they do great work! The space is so much brighter now. We love it! I've attached some before and after photos below. Thank you Phellipe and Pink Elephant!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Exceptional Work on Our Commercial Floors! I recently hired Pink Elephant to install epoxy flooring at my store, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and incredibly detail-oriented. Commercial spaces require a floor that can handle heavy foot traffic while still looking sharp, and Pink Elephant absolutely delivered. The finish is flawless, durable, and has completely transformed the look of the store. Our customers notice and compliment it constantly. If you are a business owner looking for top-tier quality and a team that respects your time and timeline, I highly recommend Phellipe at Pink Elephant. They do phenomenal work!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were dreading the mess involved in scraping our popcorn ceiling off and refinishing it to a smooth finish! To our surprise, Pink Elephant’s workmen were so organized, conscientious, and very neat! They covered the walls, cleaned up after themselves, and did an awesome job!! Polite, and answered all my questions. I highly recommend them for all your painting needs, no matter how complicated! An A+ Job!!
